Argh JetSubmitter…
I’ve pretty much been spending the night trying to get the Jet package working… but it hasn’t been. First, I spent about an hour and a half manually spinning the first article I’ve paid for, then I tried to get it to check the uniqueness through the free JetChecker tool that comes with being a member.
But it’s been me hitting my head against the wall the entire night pretty much. Pretty damn annoying. Here’s a print screen of it…

Yeah right...
Buying the $197 JetSubmitter has been one of my more iffier purchases and safe to say that I’m somewhat disappointed with it. Well, I guess just disappointed with myself for buying it without realising that it was essentially in beta version and still in development. The interface is pretty unfriendly and unclear. And call me pedantic, but good grammar does add to the whole ambience of a “clean” online experience.
It’s not in my good books and it might mean that I might have to take it off my strategy for marketing my affiliate products.
I buy these sorts of things with the hope that they simplify my online experience when really, it makes me dislike technology. I’m not the only one who thinks that technology occasionally makes life harder than it’s supposed to be.
I’m an Affiliate Marketer. I review products. I shouldn’t have to waste my time dealing with the trivialities like tinkering with article spinning and automated submitting software. It might actually make me completely stick with white-hat SEO techniques. Like I mentioned in previous earlier posts, I felt that the Jet series was a bit grey-hat, despite displaying the “White hat certified” logo at JetSpinner.com.
And to think I was going to promote them as well. I pride myself on being ethical. Anything that compromises that, anything… well, basically I won’t feel good if I do get an affiliate commission. I’m all about value, I am.
This might mean that I might totally ignore anything that’s “automated”. If that’s the case, it will a load off my chest whenever I feel enticed by hypnotic copy that promotes something automated.
*sigh* we’ll see how it goes…
